The rectangular coin showcases a coloured image of the iconic Mighty Dump Truck, which is sure to bring on all the nostalgic feels! It has also been antiqued to create a grittiness to the coin. Detailed engraving of the special 75th anniversary logo and tyre tracks add extra appeal to the design – with the tracks continued on the back! The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II can also be seen on the obverse, confirming it is legal tender.
Officially licensed, the specially designed box includes the anniversary logo and a delightful description of the history of Tonka on the inside lid. The coin itself is secured in a transparent, acrylic case, which is perfect for display. The case is magnetic, so you can easily slide it apart to take a closer look. The coin also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity printed on the back of the box, along with its unique serial number in the mintage of just 1,947 — to reflect the year the company was founded.
