Minsc, a goodly ranger who heralded from Rashemen, and his faithful companion Boo, who is a miniature giant space hamster, have been part of the D&D world since they were brought to life in the computer game Baldur's Gate in 1998. As a man of great strength but limited mental prowess, Minsc relies on Boo for the wisdom and balance in their relationship summed up perfectly in his own words: "Minsc will lead with blade and boot! Boo will take care of the details."
