    You are bidding for a Lamy 2000 4 colour ballpoint. In the early 1960s a search was started by Lamy to find a revolutionary new design. Gerd A. Müller an industrial designer, influenced by the Bauhaus movement, was engaged. This school promoted clean lines, coupled with functional and aesthetic designs. Müller created such a pen with the Lamy 2000, launched in 1966. This model represents a harmonius blend of high-grade stainless steel and plastic, both materials having the same textured finish. The fact that this modell is still produced today tells is own story. The ballpoint in the auction is in near mint condition. The ballpoint has some very very little signs of use.
