    Description

    Rare and highly collectible “M.C.A. Cigar” single-sided porcelain sign. Sign measures 30" x 12". Includes a wire attached to the back for hanging. M.C.A. cigars were made by the Goldsmith, Silver & Company, which was established in 1886 and located in Boston. The sign probably dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. This vintage advertising sign shows typical rust spots and wear, but its unique 3 color scheme of red, brilliant yellow, and deep blue remains crisp and vibrant, attesting to the beauty and durability of the porcelain manufacturing process.
