The Premium bullion coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and was issued on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Scrooge McDuck. The motive features an officially licensed representation of Scrooge McDuck with glasses, top hat and walking stick. He opens his coat to reveal interior pockets filled with ample cash. Also included in the design are the words "I'M THE RICHEST DUCK IN THE WORLD" as well as weight and fineness and the Disney™ copyright. The reverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "TWO DOLLARS," "ELIZABETH II," "2022" and "NIUE."
Scrooge McDuck is known today in particular through the series "DuckTales" - but his role as Donald Duck's billionaire uncle began back in 1947, when he made his first appearance in the Disney comic strip "Christmas on Bear Mountain".
