Description
Twelve Panel Egg Imperial Faberge Eggs Silver Coin 1$ Niue 2021The egg was made in 1899 in the famous workshop of Carl Fabergé.
It was created by Michael Perkin – one of the most distinguished jewelers of his time. Alexander Kelch, a 19th-century tycoon, ordered the egg as an Easter gift for his wife. The masterpiece was made of gold, diamonds, and meticulously applied enamel decorations.
Thanks to the Mint of Poland, you can have a miniature of the masterpiece of your own. Currently, the original belongs to the royal collection of Elizabeth II.
On the reverse, the inscription: “Imperial Fabergé Eggs”.
The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen surrounded by an intricate design and the inscriptions:
"NIUE ISLAND" the issuing country,
"ELIZABETH II" the name of the Queen,
"1 DOLLAR" the face value,
"Weight 16.81 g"
"Dimensions: 29.2 x 39 mm"
"2021" the year of issue and “Ag 999” – the purity of the Silver.
