Here's a very nice circa
1940s ART DECO STYLE MEN'S TRAVEL KIT
,
containing four metal containers with lids, a hairbrush with matching metal handle, a comb, nail file and an ebony clothing brush.  Beautiful black & silver enameled cases are in great condition, and the inside of the containers make it clear that these were rarely used.  The case has monogrammed initials and a zipper closure; I think the inside lining is cowhide.  The case is 10 3/8" tall, 6 1/4" wide and 2" deep when closed.
See photos for a closer look.  The largest metal case has a small spot of enamel loss; otherwise, the contents are in excellent condition.
